Work Experience
Work Placements are a priority for us at Focus 1st Academy as we want our students to develop their skills to the fullest. Once the student has informed us about his/her interests and competences, we will aim to find a work experience that suits his/her expectations. Ideally, students will be attending their placements for 2 days a week during school hours.

Activities
Focus 1st Academy provides our students with different extracurricular activities throughout the school year in order to enrich their experience at our Academy.

Our extra sports activities are designed to support our pupils' wellbeing and mental health, placing their physical and emotional development at the heart of everything we do.

At Focus 1st Academy we aim to prepare our students to be able to choose the best college or sixth form for them, when they continue on their education journey after year 11.
