STUDENT HEALTH & WELLBEING
At Focus 1st Academy, we believe that happy, healthy pupils learn best. We are committed to supporting the physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing of every young person in our care. Our aim is to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where pupils feel confident, valued, and supported to reach their full potential.

We take a proactive approach to wellbeing, promoting positive mental health through our curriculum, enrichment activities, and everyday school culture. Pupils are encouraged to talk openly about how they feel and to seek help whenever they need it. Our dedicated staff are always here to listen and provide guidance, and we work closely with families and external professionals to ensure that every pupil receives the right support.

On this page, you’ll find a range of useful resources, advice, and links to help pupils, parents, and carers look after health and wellbeing both inside and outside of school. If you have any concerns about a pupil’s health or wellbeing, please contact a member of our Wellbeing Team or speak with your child’s Tutor.
